How to Add a Gadget Above Your Header in Blogger

Most bloggers normally host their blog on google blog platform formally called "Blogspot" but now called "Blogger" it can be used to achieve anything you wanna do if you know the basics. Blogger's Dashboard have several features  such as Post,Pages,Layout,Google Analytics e.t.c. Within the Blogger Dashboard, the Layout feature allows you  to add gadgets such as RSS feeds, Social Syndication wdget, or  add other important widgets to your sites.
 By editing HTML code of your Blog, you can add the a gadget above the  Blog header.
So let's start.
1. Log in to your Blogger account   to  enter your  Blog Dashboard.
2. locate  "Template," and click on it for a new window to open containing "Customize and Edit HTML"  Never mind just click  on "Edit HTML" to edit your blog tempate.
3. press ctrl+ F in your keyboard and paste this code  <div id="header-wrapper">
in the search form and press the enter key.
4. Locate the larger code just beneath the one from the Step above. Within the code, find "maxwidgets." Change the number from "1" -"5."
5. Locate "showaddelement" just after "maxwidgets"; if found,Change "no" to "yes."
6. Save your Template changes and return to your Dashboard. Navigate to  "Layout." Now you'll see  link titled "Add Gadget" just above your Blog Header. Click the add Gadget and install the gadget you like.
7. Now click on" Save Arrangement" located at the top right corner of your Dashboard click on view your blog to verify if the widget was added appropriately.
Note:
    Not never alter any other HTML element if you are not good in  programming, Because it will definitely cause your blog  to malfunction.
