How to Create Two Columns for a Blogger Template
Blogger, allows registered users to build their own website or blog and publish content to it. All Blogger accounts are given a URL ending with the .blogspot.com domain name. Blogger's template designer gives users the ability to select a template and layout from Blogger's selection of prefabricated options. Included in these options are two styles of layouts with two columns.
1. Log in to your Blogger account to enter your Blog Dashboard and click on "Theme".
2. locate "Template," and click on it for a new window to open containing "Customize and Edit HTML" Never mind just click on "CUSTOMIZATION" to enter the template designer of your blog.
3. Click on the "Layout" section from the list on the column on the left hand side of the screen.
4. Browse through the layout options. Blogger has two options for those looking for two columns: a central column for posts and a second column located on either the left or the right for adding gadgets. This secondary column is called a sidebar.
5. Adjust the width of each column by clicking on the "Adjust Widths" tab along the left hand column. Make the secondary column as small as zero pixels or as large as 500 pixels; make the central column as small as zero pixels or as large as 1500 pixels.
6. Click the "Apply To Blog" button at the top right of the screen in order for the new layout to take effect on your page.
7.Click on view blog or check the bottom of the page you're working on to preview your settings or click on back to blogger to goto your blogger dashboard.
